Mike Saville is a U.S. Air Force veteran and retired IBM engineer living in McCammon, Idaho. A Pocatello native with a bachelor's degree, he previously worked for Thrivent Financial and once chaired a Utah Republican Party Voting District. Saville is a Republican candidate for Idaho House District 28A, challenging incumbent Rep. Rick Cheatum in the May 19, 2026, primary. Having never held elected office, he has sought legislative seats since 2016, previously running as a Democrat and an independent.
