Mike Volz is a candidate for Spokane County Treasurer in Spokane, Washington — 2025 General Election. Running as Republican.

Mike Volz is the incumbent Spokane County Treasurer, appointed to the position in February 2025. He previously served as the Chief Deputy Treasurer for Spokane County for over a decade. Concurrently, he has been a member of the Washington House of Representatives for the 6th Legislative District since 2017. He has announced he will not seek re-election to the legislature in 2026 to focus on his role as Treasurer. His career also includes roles as an assistant finance director at Spokane Transit Authority and as an adjunct faculty member at Whitworth University. Volz is a U.S. Army veteran who served as a Military Police officer. He holds a Bachelor's degree in business with a focus on accounting and finance from Eastern Washington University and an MBA from Gonzaga University. He is also a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
