Monty Fritts, born in Rockwood, Tennessee, in 1963, is an incumbent Republican member of the Tennessee House of Representatives, representing District 32 since 2023. An alumnus of Liberty University and the University of Tennessee, he announced his candidacy for Governor of Tennessee in September 2025. Fritts champions nuclear energy innovation and stronger state energy policies.
