Muri Lynn Dueppen is a dedicated community advocate and a member of the Carroll County Democratic Central Committee. A resident of Mount Airy since 2004, she has a background in the scientific and environmental nonprofit sector. Dueppen co-founded the grassroots group VOCAL Carroll County to encourage citizen participation in local government and has been a passionate advocate for public education, having run for the Board of Education. Her work within the Democratic party is focused on promoting core values of economic fairness and equality of opportunity. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the College of William and Mary.
