Nancy Baca

Nancy Baca is the incumbent for District 5 of the Central New Mexico Community College Governing Board, having served since 2016. Her career includes experience as a journalist, during which she served as the president of the National Association of Hispanic Journalists and the national president of Unity: Journalists of Color. Baca holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Management, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of New Mexico. Her community involvement includes volunteering at Animal Humane New Mexico, serving on the Albuquerque Museum Foundation board, and acting as president of the New Mexico Apple Council.
