Naren Briar

Naren Briar is a candidate for Bellevue City Council, Position 2. She has a professional background in technology, having worked at Meta on privacy and policy issues. A graduate of Boston College and the Bellevue Essentials civic engagement program, she is an education advocate and has been involved in extensive local volunteer work, including mentoring students and creating programs for senior citizens. Her family fled Iraq as refugees, a background that she states has instilled in her a deep appreciation for community and effective government.
