Nate Willems

Nate Willems, a lifelong Iowan and labor lawyer, is a Democratic candidate for Attorney General. A former two-term state representative, he focused on expanding public education access and fortifying workers' rights. As an attorney, Willems has recovered millions for workers and won historic collective bargaining wages. He aims to refocus the Attorney General's office on public safety, protecting Iowans from corporate crimes and wage theft, and rebuilding consumer protection. Willems vows to be an independent voice for justice, cracking down on scams targeting seniors and defending civil rights. He lives in Mount Vernon with his wife and three daughters.
