Nathan Bech is a lifelong Western Massachusetts resident, U.S. Army Reserve lieutenant colonel with six deployments, and a former three-term West Springfield Town Councilor (2016–2021). He graduated from Colgate University and holds graduate degrees from Jerusalem University College and Dallas Theological Seminary; he is active in Christian prison ministry. He led the 2013 grassroots campaign that blocked a Hard Rock casino in West Springfield and is running for U.S. Senate as an independent (formerly Republican).
