Nathan Dugan is a physical therapist who moved to Whitefish in 2015. He holds a bachelor's degree in exercise science from Ohio State University and a doctorate in physical therapy from Columbia University, and is pursuing an MBA at the University of Montana. Dugan is a co-founder and president of the pro-housing advocacy group Shelter WF. He has served on the City of Whitefish's Climate Action Plan Committee and Governor Gianforte's housing task force. He previously ran for City Council in 2023.
