Ned Hammar

Ned Hammar is a family physician who has lived in Port Angeles for 10 years with his wife and two sons, who are students in the district. He grew up in a small town in Eastern Oregon and later taught school in South Africa with the Peace Corps. He received his medical degree from Johns Hopkins University and completed his residency at Swedish Cherry Hill in Seattle. He has received additional training in childhood trauma and resilience and has presented on these topics to school staff and community groups.
