Ned Nuerge is a retired commercial driving instructor running for the California State Assembly to represent District 18. Growing up in Indiana, his career spans emergency medical services and healthcare, having worked as an EMT, in patient care and respiratory therapy at the Scripps Clinic and Research Foundation, and in human resources within the Oakland healthcare community. A Republican candidate, Nuerge previously ran for the U.S. House of Representatives in California in 2022 and 2024.
