Neil Nelson

Neil Nelson moved to Port Townsend in 2013. He has over 40 years of experience in the construction industry and is the owner of Piecewurx Construction and Remodeling. Before his appointment to the City Council in August 2024, he served for three years on the Port Townsend Planning Commission. Nelson spent his childhood in Odessa, Texas, and lived in Southern California and Monroe, Washington, before settling in Port Townsend. He is married with two sons, plays guitar, and is a pilot in training. He is also a regular speaker for 12-step recovery groups, drug courts, and local treatment centers.
