Nick Hoheisel is an incumbent State Representative for Kansas’ 97th District, first elected in 2018. A native of Wichita, he values public service and community engagement, demonstrated through his past involvement on Wichita’s City Council District IV Advisory Board and Southwest Village Neighborhood Association Board. He is currently pursuing studies in Political Science and Government at Wichita State University and serves as Co-Vice-Chair of the Kansas Future Caucus. Hoheisel sits on the Judiciary, Energy, Utilities, and Telecommunication, and Transportation Committees. He has expressed interest in financial literacy for Kansans, supporting local investment like Boeing's return to Wichita, and improving public transit. He is seeking reelection in 2026, looking forward to continuing his work in the Kansas House of Representatives.
