Nick Sawka

Nicholas E. Sawka is a resident of Lynden and a U.S. Coast Guard veteran who served for 20 years before retiring. He is originally from a rural town in Pennsylvania. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the University of Phoenix (2011) and graduated from Brownsville Area High School. Sawka has been actively involved in the community, coaching his daughters' sports teams, leading the All-Pro Parents program at Fisher Elementary, and serving as president of the Lynden Breakfast Kiwanis Club. He previously ran for Lynden School Board Director Position 2 in 2023.
