Nicole Bershon was appointed to the Los Angeles Superior Court by Governor Edmund G. Brown Jr. in 2013. She earned her law degree from the UCLA School of Law and her undergraduate degree from Princeton University. Prior to her appointment, she served as a court commissioner for the Los Angeles Superior Court from 2011 to 2013. Her previous experience includes working as the Inspector General for the Los Angeles Police Commission, a Deputy City Attorney for the Los Angeles City Attorney's Office, and as an associate at the law firms Irell & Manella and Stutman, Treister & Glatt. She has presided over various assignments, including felony trials, family law, and serving as the Site Judge for the Inglewood Courthouse.
