Nicole Tesch

Nicole Tesch is an Oak Harbor native and was appointed to the school board in May 2022 and elected in 2023. She has over 24 years of government experience, having worked for the Island County Commissioner's Office, the City of Oak Harbor, and the City of Anacortes. As of November 2023, she works for the Anacortes School District as the Assistant to the Superintendent and School Board/Communications Coordinator. Tesch has five children, with four attending schools within the Oak Harbor district. Her community involvement includes the PTA, co-chairing the Citizens for Better Schools Campaign, and volunteering for the Miss and Mr. Oak Harbor Scholarship programs.
