Nomita Ganguly is an attorney, former State House aide, and legislative advocate who has worked in and around the Massachusetts State House for 25 years. After graduating from Northeastern University School of Law, she began her career as a State House policy counsel on the House and Senate sides, and for the past 20 years has been a legislative advocate for older adult and disability nonprofits. She has lived in the 24th Middlesex District for 25 years — seven in Arlington and eighteen in Belmont — where she and her husband raised two children through the Belmont Public Schools and she served in school volunteer leadership, including as Chenery PTO co-president and Foundation for Belmont Education co-president.
