Norma L. Hernández

Norma L. Hernández was appointed Mayor of College Place in August 2019 after serving as a City Council Member and was subsequently elected to the position in November 2021. Her professional background is in the nonprofit financial and business industries, and she also serves as the executive director of a local student-focused nonprofit health center. Originally from El Paso, Texas, Hernández has been a resident of Washington State since 1987. She is actively involved in numerous community boards and committees that focus on providing opportunities for financial stability and inclusivity.
