Omari Crawford

Omari Crawford is an incumbent State Representative for Georgia's 89th House District, serving South DeKalb, Decatur, and parts of Atlanta as a Democrat. His legislative focus includes reducing the cost of living, improving the criminal justice system, and ensuring quality education. Recognized as an effective lawmaker, he also works as a civil litigation attorney and Assistant DeKalb County Attorney. Crawford holds a J.D./M.B.A. and B.S./M.P.A., having been a track and field student-athlete. Active in community and civic organizations, he is seeking re-election in the 2026 Democratic primary.
