  • Affordable Housing

    Supports

Supports building more housing to make it more affordable. He helped pass the $5.16 billion housing bond bill and says building and funding more units will drive down the cost of housing. He also sponsored legislation to establish an accessory dwelling unit trust fund (H.1482) and tax credits for home sales to first-time home buyers (H.3216).

The more units that we're able to build, the more units that we're able to help fund, the more supply that will be available for people ... And that will, in turn, drive down the cost of housing, which is astronomical at the moment.
