Paige Cognetti is the Mayor of Scranton, Pennsylvania, having first been elected in a 2019 special election as the city's first female mayor. She previously served as an advisor to the Pennsylvania Auditor General and worked at the U.S. Treasury Department during the Obama administration. Earlier in her career, she served on the Scranton School Board. Cognetti holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA from the University of Oregon. She is a candidate for the U.S. House in PA-8.
