She earned degrees from East Central University in 1984 and Southeastern Oklahoma State University in 1996. Gordon believes small towns and rural communities are the heartbeat of Oklahoma and is running to combat distant bureaucracies and heavy-handed regulations impacting families and local businesses. Her platform focuses on common-sense education reform, empowering parents, strengthening rural public schools, supporting a pro-growth economy, and defending private property rights against eminent domain abuse, particularly for farmers and ranchers. She also pledged support for congressional term limits.
