Pamela Cort has been an educator for over 30 years, with 26 years spent teaching French at Las Cruces High School before retiring in 2019. She was named the Las Cruces District Teacher of the Year in 2012 and New Mexico Teacher of the Year in 2013. She holds a BA in French from Washington State University, an MA in curriculum and instruction from New Mexico State University, and an Ed.S. in curriculum, instruction, and assessment from Walden University. She was appointed to the school board in July 2021 and elected to a full four-year term in November 2021. She currently serves as the Board President.
