Pat Holten has been a resident of Richland for over 50 years, initially arriving to student-teach. She taught sixth grade at Jefferson Elementary before marrying and raising three children. She graduated from White Bear Lake High School, received a bachelor's degree from Washington State University in 1972, and a graduate degree from the University of Washington in 1977.
