Patrick Depoe

Patrick DePoe, a Makah tribal member born in Seattle and a University of Washington alumnus, is running for State Representative for Washington's 24th Legislative District, Position 2, as a Democrat. He currently serves as the executive director of the Association of Washington Tribes and has a background in tribal government, natural resource management, and over two decades as a first responder. DePoe advocates for progressive tax reform, supporting the millionaire's tax while opposing cuts to the estate tax that impact education. He prioritizes education and protecting natural resources, aiming to give Indigenous voices a say in government and serve his district for future generations. He lives in Neah Bay.
