Patty Marie Stinson, born Patty James Bentley in Butler, Georgia, on September 20, 1970, is a Democratic member of the Georgia House of Representatives. A Georgia Institute of Technology graduate, she previously served on the Taylor County Board of Elections. Stinson was first sworn into the House on January 14, 2013, representing District 139 before assuming office for District 150 on January 9, 2023. She serves on multiple committees, including Appropriations and Ways & Means, and is Vice Chairman of State Planning & Community Affairs. Stinson, who resides in Butler, is seeking re-election for District 150 in the Democratic primary on May 19, 2026, having recently prevailed in a legal challenge regarding her residency.
