Paul A. Lowe Jr. has served as the State Senator for North Carolina's 32nd district since his appointment on January 30, 2015. He is a pastor at the Shiloh Baptist Church in Winston-Salem, where he has served for over two decades. His educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in religion from Bishop College, a Master of Divinity in theology from Virginia Union University, and a Doctor of Ministry in congregational development from Drew University. Before his political career, he was an adjunct professor at Shaw University Divinity School. He is married to LaGail Crews Lowe, a retired Master Sergeant in the United States Air Force.
