Paul D. Corderman is a Republican State Senator representing Maryland's Legislative District 2. He began his tenure in the Senate following an appointment on September 1, 2020, and was subsequently elected to a full term by voters in the November 2022 general election. His career in public service includes representing the same district in the Maryland House of Delegates from December 2017 to August 2020. Prior to his work in the state legislature, Corderman served his local community as a member of the Hagerstown City Council from 2016 to 2017. A native of Hagerstown, Maryland, he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in criminal justice from the University of Maryland, College Park. His father, John P. Corderman, also served as a member of the Maryland Senate.
