Paula Rhyne was elected to the Everett City Council for District 2 on November 2, 2021. She is a two-time graduate of the University of Washington, holding a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and a Master's Degree from the Evans School of Public Policy and Governance. Rhyne works as a legislative aide for Snohomish County Council member Megan Dunn. Her previous experience includes working for now-Governor Bob Ferguson during his time on the King County Council and as the Director of Constituent Relations for Councilmember Rod Dembowski. She also worked for the Affordable Housing Program at the Federal Home Loan Bank of Seattle and served on the University District Food Bank Board for six years, finishing as Board President. She resides in the Port Gardner neighborhood with her family.
