Pauline Wendzel is the incumbent Republican State Representative for Michigan's 39th House District. She was first elected to the state House in 2018. Wendzel is an alumna of Michigan State University, where she earned a Bachelor's degree in anthropology and food industry marketing. She grew up on her family's farm in Bainbridge Township and previously served as the township's deputy clerk. Prior to taking office, she was also the programs director at the North Berrien Historical Museum.
