Claim this profilePete Serrano earned a bachelor's degree from the University of California, Davis, a law degree from Florida Coastal School of Law in 2009, and a master's degree in environmental law from Vermont Law School in 2010. His professional experience includes working as an attorney for the U.S. Department of Energy from 2015 to 2018 and at Energy Northwest from 2018 to 2021. He was first elected to the Pasco City Council in 2017 and was selected as Mayor by his fellow councilmembers in January 2024. In August 2025, Serrano resigned as Mayor and Councilmember to accept an appointment as the Interim U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Washington. He also co-founded the Silent Majority Foundation, a conservative nonprofit, where he served as Director and General Counsel.
