Peter Kwon

Peter Kwon has been a resident of King County for over 35 years. He was born in South Korea and moved to New York with his family before settling in Washington. He attended the University of Washington and Bellevue College, studying Computer Science and Network Services. His career includes positions at Boeing, Nordstrom, Microsoft, and the University of Washington. Kwon has served on the SeaTac City Council since 2016, and was re-elected in 2019 and 2023. He has held leadership roles such as SeaTac's Deputy Mayor from 2020 to 2022 and is a board member for the Puget Sound Regional Council's Transportation Policy Board and the National League of Cities. He is also the co-founder of the Korean American Institute.
