Peter "Pete" Meaney is a U.S. Navy veteran, small business owner, husband and father, and the Ward 1 Lynn city councilor. Born into a working-class family in Lynn, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy during the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, then worked multiple jobs while earning an associate degree from North Shore Community College, a bachelor's degree from the University of Connecticut, and a Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Boston University. He owns Broadway Family Dental in Lynn and is running for state representative to make Beacon Hill more accessible, responsive, and accountable to working families.
