Phillip Chen is a Republican member of the California State Assembly representing District 59, encompassing parts of Orange and San Bernardino counties. First elected to the Assembly in 2016, Chen previously served as a school board member for the Walnut Valley Unified School District and a health policy advisor for the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors. He holds a bachelor's degree from California State University, Fullerton, and a master's and doctorate from the University of Southern California.
