Pini Herman is a community-based researcher, demographer, and community organizer running for the U.S. House of Representatives in California's 30th Congressional District. Born in Hungary, Herman immigrated to the U.S. as a refugee following the 1956 Hungarian Revolt. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Southern California and has worked as a Research Director at the Jewish Federation of Los Angeles.
