Rafael Macias is an incumbent Democratic State Representative for Maine's 51st House District, which includes parts of Topsham. He assumed office in December 2024 and is seeking re-election in the 2026 primary. A U.S. Navy veteran, he served in the War in Afghanistan. He holds a degree from the University of Missouri and works as a photographer. Macias is also a Board Member of the Maine People's Alliance and serves on the Labor Committee in the House. He is married with four children and two grandchildren.
