Ramsey Robinson is a mental health social worker, organizer, and activist based in San Francisco. He earned his Master of Social Work from California State University, Los Angeles. His work focuses on challenging systemic inequities such as poverty and racism. Robinson has been involved in campaigns for victims of police brutality, co-organizing a speak-out for Sawandi Toussaint and helping lead the national 'Shut 'Em Down' campaign to free political prisoners. He has also worked with at-risk youth on Skid Row and in San Francisco's Bayview/Hunters Point community on environmental justice issues. At the high school where he works, he founded a Student Socialist Club.
