Ray Helms was appointed to the Pacific City Council in January 2024. He has over two decades of experience as a small business owner and more than 25 years in public service. His prior public service includes being elected to the North Highline Unincorporated Area Council and an appointment to the Burien Planning Commission. He was instrumental in creating the Burien CARES non-profit animal shelter and helped organize Burien's 4th of July Parade for over a decade. He is an active member of the local non-profit Pacific Partnerships.
