Rebecca Edgeworth

Rebecca Edgeworth, a Republican, is an incumbent member of the Nevada State Assembly, representing District 35 since November 6, 2024. Born in 1968 at Nellis Air Force Base, she is a third-generation Nevadan. Dr. Edgeworth is the only practicing physician in the Assembly, holding a medical degree from the University of South Florida. She completed her medical training in Southern Nevada and serves as an adjunct professor at Touro University Nevada. Edgeworth leverages her real-world healthcare experience to prioritize increased access to quality healthcare, stronger mental health services, reduced fraud and waste, and eased regulatory burdens for providers. She is running for re-election in 2026, having advanced unopposed from the Republican primary.
