She is a Director of Software Engineering at ENGIE Impact, where she leads two global software teams. Long is the founder of Future Ada, a nonprofit focused on empowering women in STEAM fields, and created a local civics newsletter called 'Cheney, Coffee, & Civics'. She previously ran for city council two years ago.
