Reedy Berg, 37, a lifelong Yakima Valley resident, is seeking election to the Washington House of Representatives, District 15, Position 2, in the 2026 Primary. A Gonzaga and Heritage Universities graduate, he has taught history and civics at Toppenish Middle School since 2016, also working in agriculture. Elected to the Yakima City Council in 2024, he now serves as Deputy Mayor. He and his wife Nicole are raising their two children in the Valley. Berg supports fully funding law enforcement and opposing criminal justice rollbacks. He advocates cutting the state sales tax and repealing the capital gains income tax. He emphasizes parental rights in education, believing families are primary stakeholders. Berg presents himself as "not a career politician," but a neighbor "ready to serve."
