Rhodesia Ransom is the incumbent California State Assemblymember representing District 13. Before assuming office in December 2024, she served as a Tracy City Councilmember and planning commissioner, and was the district chief of staff for U.S. Representative Josh Harder. Ransom also served as executive director of the Sow A Seed Community Foundation. She earned a bachelor's degree in political science from San Francisco State University and a master's degree from Golden Gate University.
