Richard H. Kirschner is an incumbent judge on the Superior Court of Los Angeles County. He was appointed to the bench by Governor Gray Davis in October 2001. Prior to his appointment, he was a sole practitioner specializing in white-collar defense from 1975 to 2001 and served as an assistant U.S. attorney for the Central District of California from 1969 to 1975. He earned his J.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law. He was re-elected in 2014 and 2020 without opposition. His current term is set to end on January 4, 2027.
