Rick Kannely is a California native and a retired agriculture teacher from Royal High School. He was appointed to the Royal City City Council in June 2023 to fill a vacancy for Position 5. Prior to his time in Royal City, he taught in Mount Vernon, Washington. He has expressed a strong commitment to serving the community he now calls home.
