Primary election
Past campaign details are available on the full race page.
Rob Beiswenger is the incumbent Idaho State Representative for District 8A, assuming office in 2024. A Republican, he moved to Idaho from Indiana, motivated by concerns over "left-wing corporate attacks on children's innocence, parental rights, and freedoms." In his first session, he voted to slash state income taxes, led the fight for the Medical Freedom Act eliminating mask and vaccine mandates, and worked to eliminate taxpayer-funded benefits for illegal immigrants and protect female prisoners. Beiswenger advocates for traditional Idaho values, protecting children, reducing taxes, election integrity, and Second Amendment rights. He is seeking re-election in 2026.
