Rob McFarland

Rob McFarland is a long-time resident of North Bend, having moved to the city in 1997. He served as the Mayor of North Bend, taking office in January 2020. Before becoming mayor, he was involved in the community through various volunteer and leadership roles, including serving on the North Bend Planning Commission for about 10 years, the North Bend Parks Commission, the Meadowbrook Farm Preservation Association, the Encompass Board, and the Snoqualmie Valley Schools Foundation. McFarland holds a Master of Arts in Public Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Natural Resources. His professional background includes owning a business consulting firm, operating an organic cotton clothing company, and working in construction and real estate. He is running for City Council Position 2 in the 2025 election.
