Rob Woodward is a Colorado-based restaurateur and Republican politician. Originally from Wyoming, he moved to Colorado in the 1990s, earning degrees from Colorado State University and DePaul University. He owns 28 Subway franchises across Colorado, Wyoming, and Nebraska, managing over 450 employees. Woodward served as a Colorado State Senator for District 15 from 2019 to 2023, serving on committees like the Senate Statutory Revision Committee. He sponsored legislation supporting Ukraine, terminating gubernatorial emergency authority, and promoting the timber industry. After losing his 2022 re-election bid, he is now running for Colorado State Senate District 15 in the Republican primary on June 30, 2026.
