Robbyn Lewis is a Democratic member of the Maryland House of Delegates, representing District 46 in Baltimore City. She took office on January 10, 2017, becoming the first African-American to represent the district. Born in Gary, Indiana, Lewis built a two-decade career in international public health after serving in the Peace Corps. Her academic credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in anthropology from the University of Chicago and a Master of Public Health from Columbia University. During her tenure in the House of Delegates, she has contributed to key legislative discussions as a member of both the Environment and Transportation Committee and the Health and Government Operations Committee.
