Robert B. Aderholt, 60, is an incumbent U.S. Representative for Alabama's 4th Congressional District, serving since 1997. A Republican from Haleyville, he is a socially conservative member of the Tea Party Caucus. He chairs the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Labor, Health & Human Services, and Education, and serves on the Agriculture and Defense Subcommittees. He advocates for economic development, strong immigration policies, national security, and promotes religious freedom as chair of the Values Action Team. He also played a role in efforts to overturn the 2020 presidential election results. With a background as an attorney and municipal judge, he is seeking reelection in 2026 to continue representing his district.
