Robert D. Fountain, Jr.

Robert D. Fountain, Jr. is a U.S. Marine Corps veteran where he served as a military policeman, scout sniper, and security specialist. His law enforcement career continued in the corrections field, and he was appointed as the first gang coordinator for all 100 counties within the North Carolina Department of Public Safety. He later served as the gang coordinator for all 55 major prisons in the state and as the fugitive extradition operations manager. Before becoming Sheriff, Fountain started his own security consulting business, providing training to law enforcement agencies, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, and FEMA.
